We began by conducting extensive user research and stakeholder interviews to gain a deep understanding of the workflows, pain points, and requirements.
We dedicated a morning to visiting the clients warehouse/head office, meticulously reviewing the current processes to gain insight into how we could transition from manual procedures to automated ones using a software solution.
Leveraging this insight, we embarked on a comprehensive approach that centered around the development of a design system and high fidelity prototypes tailored to the client’s specific needs

Design System & Prototyping
We developed a design system that served as the foundation for the warehouse inventory management system’s visual and interaction design. The design system encompassed a comprehensive set of UI components, design principles, and guidelines that maintained consistency, coherence, and scalability across the application. By adhering to established design patterns and best practices, we ensured a seamless user experience and facilitated efficient development and maintenance of the system.
Subsequently, we crafted logic documentation along with a high-level feature list and information architecture which encompassed the organisation, structure and labelling of content within the application to enhance usability and findability. This process entailed designing the layout and navigation of the application in a user-friendly manner, ensuring easy access to necessary information.
This was then complemented by interactive prototypes that vividly depicted the proposed solution, allowing stakeholders to experience the system firsthand and provide valuable feedback. Through iterative prototyping, we refined the user interface, optimized workflows, and validated key functionalities, ensuring alignment with the client’s objectives and user expectations.
With the prototypes refined and the design system in place, we commenced the implementation phase, leveraging agile methodologies to iteratively develop and deploy the warehouse inventory management system.
