JDR Software Allocate Plus
Allocate Plus is a web-based class allocation and management solution utilized by the majority of universities across Australia and New Zealand.
It effectively handles class registration requirements, empowering students to plan their timetables, enter preferences, and secure schedules tailored to their personal commitments throughout their academic journey.
DESIGN & PROTOTYPING
Utilizing the latest design principles, Media Shark was engaged to redesign the entire student module interface with a focus on user experience, device compatibility and accessibility ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
We initiated the project with extensive user research and stakeholder meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the workflows, pain points, and requirements.
Leveraging these insights, we employed a comprehensive approach that focused on developing a robust information architecture, and intricate design system
Time was of the essence for this project, as the client had a focus group scheduled and required the initial concepts and prototypes to be ready in advance.

Following the successful presentation of initial concepts and low-fidelity prototypes at the Clients Focus Group in Sydney, our UI/UX team, drawing inspiration from the newly developed design system, information architecture, and accessibility notes, meticulously crafted high-fidelity prototypes for the website and mobile application.
